Sherman Oaks, CA was founded in 1927 by General Moses Hazeltine Sherman. A partner in the Los Angeles Suburban Development Company, who also owned and founded the Los Angeles Pacific Railroad. Surrounded by its borders Magnolia and Burbank to the North and Coldwater and Van Nuys to the West, pockets of neighborhoods include Chandler Estates and Magnolia Woods.

Sherman Oaks has always been popular with families seeking suburban comforts. Bordered by the 405 and 101 freeways, it is easy to get to all parts of Los Angeles.  It encompasses parks, a golf course, easy access to Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks Galleria, etc.
